| Writing & Pre-production Come to Mayfair and hire one of our luxury writing rooms with all our professional audio know-how, plus our technicians and engineers on hand to help out. We offer full reception service, including security & phone and fax messaging, internet connection etc, etc. These rooms are available for hire on medium to long term with your own equipment.
Even if you are using your own equipment, Mayfair has all the full recording studio facilities right here in the building, with tons of gear, miles of cables to connect anything to anything, we make special leads up on the spot, and experts to get you going when you crash. In fact we've got all you need under one roof.
Studio 4: Comfortable control room now with daylight/loft conversion, and adjoining live room with mic lines and talkback.
Studio 5: A writer's/Programmer's paradise. Luxurious spacious room with daylight. Stairs to mezzanine seating/TV area.
Studio 6:
Luxurious spacious room with daylight. Stairs to mezzanine seating/TV area, and Kitchenette. Rooms are soundproofed to NS10 level, airconditioned and fully serviced if necessary by Mayfair's highly trained staff.
John Hudson, studio owner and recording engineer-producer, with an electronics degree, several years in BBC television, 15 years experience with computers and 30 years as a recording engineer, is available to help sort out all your technical and audio recording queries.
