| Mixing in 5.1 Surround for DVD and FILM
Mayfair is custom designed and built purely for Sound recording and as such has phenomenal acoustic qualities. Some of our biggest hits have been recorded and mixed in this room. The installation of this latest super-analogue SSL XL 9000 K series console in November 2002 will only further improve the excellent qualities of our amazing recording facility . Year after year the hits keep coming. Some clients say it is lucky, some prefer it because of the large control room, the intimacy of the studio and the relaxing atmosphere needed for maximum creativity. Control Room Size 24 x 21 ft / 8 x 7m. The new 64 channel console is centrally placed in the room giving a very accurate sound reproduction. There is a very large window and glass sliding doors to the studio area. Studio Size 35 x 18 ft / 11 x 6m Main studio area is divided into live end and dead end plus a separation booth connected by sliding glass doors. Studio One is now fully equipped to take your creativity to the digital DVD 5.1 cinema surround as well as the small TV screen. You may now mix in 5.1 surround as well as making a stereo mix at the same time. The sound quality is now far superior to most mixing facilities available. Mix from analogue, protools and radar in any combination. All systems will be synchronised to house word clock for maximum quality and stability. |
